Each clause in Uniclass has a unique reference, but NBS Chorus applies a ‘suffix’ differently to NBS Create. The table below shows the key differences.
| NBS Chorus | NBS Create | |
| Single instance of a clause | Pr_25_57_51_33 Glass fibre fleece | 45-65-50/338 Glass fibre fleece |
| 2 instances of the same clause | Pr_25_57_51_33 Glass fibre fleece Pr_25_57_51_33 Glass fibre fleece Type A | 45-65-50/338 Glass fibre fleece Type A 45-65-50/338 Glass fibre fleece Type B |
| 3 instances of the same clause | Pr_25_57_51_33 Glass fibre fleece Pr_25_57_51_33 Glass fibre fleece Type A Pr_25_57_51_33 Glass fibre fleece Type B | 45-65-50/338 Glass fibre fleece Type A 45-65-50/338 Glass fibre fleece Type B 45-65-50/338 Glass fibre fleece Type C |
- NBS Create adds the suffix to an existing clause when you have 2 or more instances of it in the spec.
- NBS Chorus allows you to insert a prefix and a suffix, even when there only one instance of the clause. If you change the suffix, NBS Chorus will try to continue the sequence if you add more instances of that clause to your spec, when it can recognise a pattern. It only does this with the Suffix not the Prefix.
