Failed to publish: This stylesheet does not contain all the required list styles. Read more...
If you get this error while publishing your specification, it means that the stylesheet you have is missing a critical component. The stylesheet is missing the list styles.
This stylesheet is not correct. A replacement stylesheet with the correct lists should be uploaded and tested, and the current one deleted.
When you are customizing your stylesheet, we recommend starting with the 'Default stylesheets templates' provided. These stylesheets contain the necessary placeholders, styles and lists to successfully publish from the platform.

Failed to publish: This stylesheet does not contain the {{content}} placeholder. Read more...
If you get this error while publishing your specification, it means the stylesheet you have selected is missing a critical component. The stylesheet is missing the {{content}} placeholder.
This stylesheet is not correct. A replacement stylesheet with the correct lists should be uploaded and tested, and the current one deleted.
If that is all the stylesheet is missing it is quite easy to correct this. See 02 Customizing your stylesheet template for how to re-insert the {{content}} placeholder.
When you are customizing your stylesheet we recommend starting with the 'Default stylesheets templates' provided. These stylesheets contain the necessary placeholders, styles and lists to successfully publish from the platform.

Failed to publish: This document contains macros (VBS project) and you are attempting to save it in a Macro-Free format.
Full error message says 'Failed to publish: This document contains macros (VBS project) and you are attempting to save it in a Macro-Free format. Such document will be invalid if created. You need to. either save it in a Macro Enabled Format (.DOCM or .DOTM) or remove macros before saving using the Document.RemoveMacros method.'
Your stylesheet contains a macro. Please remove the macros and re-upload the stylesheet. Macros are not supported.
Failed to publish: Index and length must refer to a location within the string. (Parameter 'length')
This error message will occur when you have uploaded a stylesheet where amendments have been made (possibly unintentionally) to the placeholder name within the double curly brackets {{}}. The naming and case of the placeholders must not be amended or the stylesheet template will not publish. 02 Customizing your stylesheet template gives more insight into the placeholders.
Failed to publish: Cannot remove because there is no parent...
The error message will occur when one of the placeholder boxes either contains more than one placeholder or there are additional characters outside of the double curly brackets {{}}. To resolve this issue open your stylesheet in Word and ensure all placeholders are in their own placeholder boxes and there is no additional text in these boxes.

Unable to see a custom stylesheet from the ‘styling’ step of the publish wizard
This can happen for several reasons. A stylesheet may not appear in the Print wizard > Styling drop-down menu because:
- It is still being security scanned. The scan will normally only take a few moments but can run for up to 20 minutes. Organization admins can see the ‘state’ of the scan in the Organization settings > Stylesheets area.
- You are a organization user and the stylesheet has not been activated. To test new stylesheets before they are made available to everyone the Organization admin can publish with ‘active’ and ‘inactive’ stylesheets. Non-Org admins will only see active stylesheets in the print wizard.
- If you do not see the styling step in the print wizard at all, the organization may not subscribe to stylesheets. Stylesheets are available for 'Pro' and above.
