You can connect your specification to your Revit model by downloading and installing the NBS Plug for Autodesk Revit and following the guide below.
To open your specification in Revit, select the NBS tab from the ribbon and select the Specification NBS Chorus button highlighted below -
You should now be prompted to Sign-In to Lattira Spec or NBS Chorus.
Once signed in, navigate to the specification you wish to associate with this model, select the three-dot menu to the left of the specification and select Associate with model.
With the specification now linked to the model, you can proceed to associate objects with articles and clauses within your specification.
First, select the object in your model you wish to associate, then navigate to the relevant section within your specification and select the three-dot menu on the left, then select Associate with model.
A window will then appear to ask if you want to associate this clause with the whole object or part of the build up of the object (i.e. Materials). This enables you to associate a section with the whole object, you can then associate clauses with the different materials used to build up the object.
Once you have selected either the object or the material from the list select the Next Step option. You will then be directed to a page where you can select either the Section as a whole, or the clauses within the section and associate one with the object.
Once you have selected the desired clause, click the Associate Now option and the clause will then be associated with your object.
An icon will appear next to the clause to indicate the clause is associated to an object:
